What better time to consistently provide your immune system with some TLC than a global pandemic?! Listen, people have always made questionable choices regarding basic hygiene in public places. From the kids that touch everything – with their mouths, – to the people who only wash their hands if the pee touches them after using the bathroom and THEN have the nerve to touch your food…girl, the germs have no end. They work harder than the devil’s army. Naturally, you’re going to have to work harder with some preventive care. 


What Is Your Immune System?


In short, your immune system is your body’s military. Your proteins, organs, and white blood cells need sufficient funding for tanks, bombs, and five-star physical training to stay fit and face their enemies, fight, and WIN! As aforementioned, your body is battling malicious viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites, and more everywhere you go. Your immune system is thousands of wars at once 24/7 and all you might experience is some congestion or a headache. Whatever pain or convenience you feel is not even a tenth of your body’s actual turmoil. 


When your offenders shoot your immune system in a weak spot and begin to infiltrate, this is where you will experience more severe symptoms like a common cold, the flu, or worse – the ‘RONA. 1. Food and Vitamins

What you eat matters. Your body IS food, so the quality of the food you eat determines the quality of fighting materials your immune system is working with. Eating more whole foods, taking quality supplements your body is deficient in, and maintaining proper water intake equip your immune system with military-grade weapons to show the Walmart Wonders it means business! 


Supplements you want to be sure you’ve got enough of include:

  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D
  • Probiotics



You can remedy most of these deficiencies with foods:

This is the case for all of your organs. When you deprive yourself of sleep, your body’s systems are in worse shape than how you feel; they are struggling to continue showing up, and working diligently. 


Lucky for you, your body is incredibly resilient and forgiving. As the world continues to drudge through the pandemic of 2021, you need to keep your immune systems equipped with the best resources possible. 



Prioritizing a wholesome diet, supplements, water, and sleep will keep you ahead of the game and grants you a slight edge most others’ immune systems wish they had.
